2009 All-Beltway Girls Swimming First Team
Oakton sophomore Kaitlin Pawlowicz won the 200-yard individual medley at the Virginia AAA State meet by 4.38 seconds, with an automatic All-American time of 4:02.79. She record another AAA time in the 100-yard butterfly at the state meet, finishing in second at :55.47.
At the Northern Region meet, she won the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.99) and the 100-yard butterfly (55.08). Pawlowicz experienced equal success in the Concorde District meet, but in different events. She won the 200-yard freestyle with a regional record time of 1:51.75 and won the 500-yard freestyle with a region-record time of 5:00.21.
